Nikolaus Berger
Nik is our boss! His parents are Anna and Joachim Berger. He is the brother of Maria Mickstötter, the partner of Eveline and father of Annalena and Tobias. In 2001 he took over the Baumschlagerberg from his parents and since then he has continuously expanded it into today’s Almresort. Thanks to him, we work in one of the most beautiful places ever!
Eveline Grubinger
Eveline has been working at Baumschlagerberg since 2008. She has successfully completed her education as a restaurant specialist. Eveline is the partner of our boss Nik and the mother of Annalena and Tobias. Among many other things, we owe Eveline the magic and diversity of our famous Alpine breakfast. She conjures the most delicious jams and juices, takes charmingly and efficiently care of the breakfast guests and is always there when needed! She is the heart and soul of our Almresort!

Anna und Joachim Berger
How it all began …
Anna and Joachim Berger bought the original farm in 1964 and therefore started all the successful developments since then!
Maria Mickstötter
She lives in Vorderstoder, is the daughter of Anna and Joachim Berger and the mother of Thomas, Stefan and Jacob. She works mainly in the kitchen, but is also available for different kinds of other tasks when needed!
Thomas Mickstötter
Thomas lives in Vorderstoder. He is the son of Maria – and thus the nephew of Nik. He has attended the Ski Hotel School in Bad Hofgastein and works mainly in the service, at the reception desk on the computer and welcomes our guests on the phone.
Stefan Mickstötter
Stefan also lives on the Baumschlagerberg and has completed his training as a hotel expert at the Tourism School Bad Ischl. Stefan is responsible for all our culinary delights. Outside on the grill, and especially in the kitchen, Stefan is the boss! If necessary, he is also available to support various activities in the office or concerning the farm.
Jakob Mickstötter
He lives on the Baumschlagerberg and is a graduate of the Hotelfachschule Bad Ischl. You meet Jakob early in the morning or in the evening with his grandfather in the stables! He is also the “master” of all vehicles. No matter if tractor or PistenPully – Jakob knows his way around. Usually dressed in typical leather trousers you can find him working in the back office as well, and he also expertly plays the accordion!
Karina Dutzler
Karina has been a motivated member of our team since December 2018. She inspires us with her creativity and works both in the kitchen and in service.
Marie Kreutzhuber
She has been working with us since 2021. Her domain is the kitchen where she excellently supports our cooks.
Andrea Trinkl
She lives in Vorderstoder, is married and has three children. Andrea is responsible for the cleaning of the rooms and for the general cleanliness in the entire Almresort.
Andrea Schatz
Andrea, our second maid, together with Andrea, ensures cleanliness and order in and around the Almresort!
